Welcome!

For therapeutic counselling and integrative supervision (supervisor in training) based in new Chilton, but servicing the surrounding area including Wantage, Didcot and South Oxfordshire.

Maybe it’s a need to share a trouble or worry from daily life, from relationship issues or a need to make sense of who you are from a deeper place within your being?

If stress, trauma, anxiety, depression or loss have figured in your life, you may well benefit from a place to take some time-out... to get back on a front foot again in these challenging times.

I am a qualified counsellor, therapist and integrative supervisor (in training) registered as a full member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My training has mainly been with the Psychosynthesis Trust in London.

The counselling course was a BACP accredited post graduate diploma, awarded by Middlesex University.

The supervisory course, is a training that brings together "transpersonal, humanistic and psycho dynamic perspectives; challenging and advancing therapeutic practice in a supervisory context". The diploma will be award by the Psychosynthesis Trust and has been accredited by the UKCP.

I am in private practice, working from my consulting room in New Chilton Village (Nr Harwell & Didcot) in South Oxfordshire. I offer face to face sessions or video link and I also offer walk and talk therapy sessions commencing from my home location if this is something that would interest you.

I practice as an integrative Psychosynthesis Counsellor having qualified in May 2019. I am committed to providing counselling therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. In addition to incorporating the psychosynthesis philosophy, I integrate and adapt my work to client's needs, through other modalities too. Read more about me here.

Mind, body and feelings are heavily featured in my work

While other modalities from psychoanalytic-the work of Freud & Jung for example- through to person centred therapy and other psychotherapeutic approaches such as "Gestalt" incorporating the work of Fritz Perls are considered.

I also work specifically with trauma clients based upon the teachings of Babette Rothchild. My approach is adaptive to clinical need, while at the same time holding the ethical framework and guidelines of the BACP.

I work with individual adults on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling enhancement to personal life which can be lived more fully. Our contract together will determine the process and progression of the counselling and the platform we use to work with, either on a face to face basis, through video link or by phone.
